With studios at both Wildhive Callow Hall and Sally Montague, Barre teacher and professional musician Erin Cooper Gay runs weekly classes and private sessions, as well as sessions exclusively for guests at Wildhive.

What is Barre?
A full-body workout technique, Barre unites the grace and discipline of ballet, precision of Pilates, the power of strength conditioning and the alignment of yoga. The perfect way to build muscle while increasing your flexibility and mobility, with no dance experienced needed. You get a challenging strength and endurance workout regardless of fitness level or experience as adaptations are given to suit everyone’s abilities.

I tried a taster session for barre a few weeks ago, and was instantly drawn in. I find it such a fantastic workout both mentally and physically. Erin is the most amazing teacher and makes classes challenging but fun. The great choice of accompanying music coupled with Erin's motivational instruction is infectious. I am doing three classes a week now, which I love and have started noticing changes in my shape, strength and sense of wellbeing. I cant' recommend Erin and her classes highly enough.
